Hi! My name is Joe Doyan. I am 52 years old and I am from Canakkale, Turkey and residing in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with my family. I started attending the Amazing Grace Christian Fellowship Church (“AGCFC”) in 5th July 2009 when Billy Lee introduced me to AGCFC and I met Pastor James. I have since attended AGCFC as my home church.

Praise the LORD for helping me to rid of my bad habit of smoking. I have been touched by God that I quit smoking without craving! The first 2 to 3 days was difficult for me; however, after Pastor James prayed for me, I want to vomit when I have a cigarette.

I started smoking since I was 13 years old and I tried quitting daily, but with no avail. I was a chain smoker, consuming 40 to 60 packets per month or a total cost of approximately RM350,000 in the last 39 years that I have been smoking.

Now I do not understand why I smoked and wasted all the money!
I was selfish whn I was a smoker, which I now understand, polluting the environment around me, let alone the people around me. Now, I cannot stand the smell of cigarette smoke.

Nobody believed that I could quit smoking, for those who know me well,
As I am a strong will person and they have known me and my cigarettes are inseparable.

Praise the LORD for doing the impossible for me (nothing is impossible for the LORD). Hallelujah!
